AccuSizer 780 Single Particle Optical Sizer provides
high resolution particle size analysis by generating
size distributions one particle at a time. Individual particles are sized by the single
particle light obscuration technique. By
measuring thousands of particles, size distributions
are generated. No assumptions regarding the
shape of the distribution and no convoluted
algorithms are required to calculate results.

Individual particles are passed through a laser beam
and the amount of light blocked by each particle is
measured. The amount of light blocked
corresponds to the cross sectional area of the
particle and thus its particle size. The Accusizer
measures thousands of particles per second to
produce size distributions. |
